Spinach

Beneficial properties of spinach

The benefits of spinach are due to its high mineral content - potassium, manganese, zinc, magnesium, iron and calcium. It is also a source of vitamins such as folic acid, niacin, vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin C. Other important elements are thiamine and riboflavin. Vegetables are also rich in pigments such as beta carotene, lutein, xanthene and chlorophyllin (the color is due to it). It also has a very low fat content.

Whether consumed in raw or processed form, spinach has many positive properties that play an important role in various processes in the body.

Improves vision

It is beta carotene, lutein and xanthene that care for the eyesight. The first pigment has some anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce puffiness, irritation, or dryness in the eyes.

Helps in neurosis

Potassium, folate and various antioxidants have some known neurological benefits for people who regularly consume them. The body can get them through spinach. Vegetables are recommended for people who are at risk of neurosis or cognitive disorders. Potassium, for example, aids the health of the brain, so it is also useful in Alzheimer's disease.

Maintains blood pressure

High potassium levels and low sodium levels are beneficial in patients with high blood pressure because the first mineral decreases it and the second one increases it. Folate found in spinach also helps reduce hypertension and relieves blood vessels while maintaining proper blood flow. Once the high blood pressure and tension of the vessels and arteries decrease, the stress experienced by the cardiovascular system also drops.
